This is the Post that Introduces My Blog

Welcome to my blog, everyone!!! Though closely tied to my Hyena Cart shop, Peace Baby Knits, this blog is not limited to knitting in the slightest. I go where the wind takes me. Topics may include knitting, other crafts, cooking, parenting, and generally coping with life. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I love writing it!

First, of course, I'd like to tell you more about my life... the About Me section just can't quite capture it. My name is Chelsea and I'm a 27 year old citizen of the world. I've been married to my husband Ryan for 4 1/2 years after dating him for a few years at the University of Notre Dame. We have one son, Ethan, who is going to be two on March 6th and is a wild, crazy, overwhelming ray of sunshine in our lives. I am pregnant as well! Due on April 6th of this year with another boy we plan on naming Logan. Please don't remind me how close we are to April, for I am well aware of it and am probably in the throes of a panic attack as we speak.

We also have two dogs who enjoy keeping us on our feet, Sadie and Parker. They're both shelter mutts and enjoy such things as eating my toddler's dropped food, tracking mud through the house, shedding, and farting. Despite these things, I do love them dearly :)

We're currently living in Northwest Indiana, kinda near Chicago, but are pretty hellbent on living in the Pacific Northwest eventually (this is where Ryan is originally from). I'm originally from Nebraska and although I miss it so much, there just aren't any work opportunities for Ryan in the area.

I love to knit. LOVE TO KNIT. Imagine me singing it from the rooftops. That's how much I love it. It is therapeutic, it is a challenge, it is gratifying to create something from some sticks and string.

There's obviously a lot more to me than this stuff, but I'll save it for another day. I suppose the point of a blog is to have more than one post, eh? Thanks again for visiting Peace Baby Knits' blog and please stop by again.
